GLITZ - 14th Street New York City
As part of Art In Odd Places/2008/Pedestrian, GLITZ utilizes 1,000 mirror tiles to pay homage to an area of this popular thoroughfare historically famous for it's speakeasies, dance clubs and a seedier side of life. In this time of gentrification and ordinariness, this installation will strive to bring alittle glitz back to 14th Street.

Special thanks to Ed Woodham, Alan Barnes Netherton and Hermelindo Rabanales for helping to make this possible.
