Draw Here

DRAW HERE.
Located on some 800 light poles throughout the East Village in New York City, DRAW HERE invited passersby to participate in this community-wide arts project as part of the Art In Odd Places exhibition.
DRAW HERE was an installation consisting of 8 1/2"x 11" sheets of paper printed with the words DRAW HERE attached to the poles and collected after a 2 week period. Of the 800 sheets attached, 270 were retrieved.
The project goal was to document a certain time and sentiment in the history of the East Village.
With special thanks to Ed Woodham, Edith Corra, Shannon Maquire, Phillip D. Elliott, Jeremiah J. Elliott, Thea Jaffe, Marissa McArdle and Cody Rose Clevidence for helping to make this project possible.
